In all cases, any service providers will be contractually limited in the way they may use personal information maintained by Universus, including requirements that such information be maintained in a confidential and secure manner.
Information provided by third parties. We may obtain certain information, including personal information about you from third parties, such as Viveport, Steam, or Oculus Rift in order to allow you to download and use the Game, or from social networking sites such as Facebook through which you may interact with our services. To Comply with Laws. Universus may also disclose specific personal information when such disclosure appears necessary to comply with applicable law, a subpoena in the course of managing a dispute, governmental inquiry or other litigation process. We may also disclose information to our accountants, auditors, agents, lawyers and other advisors in connection with the enforcement or protection of our legal rights or to protect the interests or safety of our clients, our clients’ customers or employees or others, in accordance with or as authorized by law.

How we protect your information
We adopt reasonable data collection, storage, and processing practices, and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information and data stored by us. However, no commercial method of information transfer over the internet or electronic data storage is known to be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of that information during its transmission or its storage in our systems.
Kindly note however that if you decline Cookies on the Game, some functions on the Game may be limited or unavailable. As a result, to make it easier to use the Game, we recommend that your browser settings accept Cookies on the Game.
Please note that we may also use the Google Analytics tool. To learn how Google Analytics collects and processes data, please visit: “How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps” located at www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners.
You can always limit the communications that we sends to you. Do Not Track
Do Not Track (DNT) is a privacy preference that users can set in some web browsers, allowing users to opt out of tracking by websites and online services. At the present time, the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has not yet established universal standards for recognizable DNT signals and therefore, Universus and the Game do not recognize DNT.
Third Party Sites
Virtual Reality Avatar
Where a user chooses to take a selfie and create their own virtual reality avatar, we may collect and store your facial scan and may provide it to the technology vendor(s) who helps provide this feature. We and our vendors will use any facial scan only for this limited purpose and for no other purpose whatsoever. Where required by applicable law, we will collect your facial scan only with your express consent and will retain the scan only until, and will permanently destroy it, when the purpose for collection or obtaining it has ended, typically not later than one (1) year after you have ceased using the Game. We use a reasonable standard of care to store, transmit and protect from disclosure any biometric information collected. Such storage, transmission, and protection from disclosure will be performed in a manner that is the same as or more protective than the manner in which Universus stores, transmits and protects from disclosure other confidential and sensitive information, including other personal information that can be used to uniquely identify an individual.
Universus is concerned about the privacy and safety of children when they use the Internet. The Game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 years of age without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13 years of age, please contact us at email@example.com
